Today he anticipates for Influencers how remote work can boost your company's competitiveness to open a conversation about the future of work. https://influyentescantabria.es/transformar-mundo-rural-trabajo-remoto/

It was 2015 and I was walking around the city of Buenos Aires when I started thinking about the benefits of working remotely. You only needed a place to work, a good internet connection and a laptop and, of course, a company that was willing to allow you to work remotely. At that time, practically nobody was talking about it.

My dream was to be able to work anywhere in the world with the only need to have a laptop, but I didn't know what to do to make that possible. I have always been a born entrepreneur and I kept thinking about it without finding the right answer.

To follow an office schedule, to commute every day to work, to waste time and money, to put up with your boss, to not have defined objectives, all this was part of the daily life of the majority of the population. And the new generations were starting to get up from their chairs...

COVID came along and the world changed completely, we all locked ourselves indoors and what was once an exceptional encore became the common way of working in a company. The COVID accelerated a way of life in which the perfect balance between personal and professional was found. What today are called Digital Nomads found the ideal way to express their way of life, in which borders were not a limiting factor when it came to finding a job.

On the other hand, companies saw an opportunity to change work habits, improve working conditions, and in certain companies, to aspire to a top talent that due to their geographical location was being denied. While it is true that there were already freelancers for projects, the reality is that it was a modality that had not expanded throughout the world.

The rise of remote work: advantages for individuals and companies

This is where there is a fascinating convergence between the needs of businesses and the aspirations of professionals towards remote working. This cultural shift not only benefits individuals who desire a better work-life balance, but also offers exceptional opportunities for companies in their search for talent and building diverse and highly skilled teams. One of the main opportunities of this transformation is for the rural world. What could once have been a handicap in finding work is now becoming an excellent opportunity.

Places away from the daily hustle and bustle, in the middle of nature and with living costs significantly lower than in big cities, make the rural world a place to attract talent, as well as companies that want to start up in places that are more friendly to nature.

This new reality opens up a vast array of opportunities. Companies are no longer limited by geographic boundaries and can access a vast pool of global talent that was previously unavailable. This translates into the ability to recruit the best professionals, no matter where they are located, to drive innovation and competitiveness in the global marketplace.

However, for many companies, this new approach to hiring is not just a matter of convenience, but an absolute necessity. Many geographic regions face talent shortages in specific sectors, threatening their ability to compete and grow in an increasingly competitive marketplace. In this context, remote talent becomes a strategic solution to overcome geographic limitations and access highly skilled professionals around the world.

By taking a broader approach to remote talent sourcing, companies can diversify their workforces, incorporating different cultural perspectives and work experiences. This not only fosters innovation and creativity, but also allows them to better understand and serve a diverse global clientele.

As we move toward a more globalized and digital economy, geographic boundaries are fading, and with them, traditional constraints on talent sourcing. Companies that proactively embrace this new reality can take full advantage of the diversity of opportunities offered by remote talent.

A call to action
In this call to action, we urge all companies in the rural world to explore the possibilities offered by remote talent and for talent living in the rural world to train to be able to work remotely in any company in the world. There are no geographical boundaries that should prevent companies from finding the talent they need to thrive.

The technology and innovative mindset are there to support this transition.

The best advantage of remote jobs is to work from your location to the world without geographical limits.

[1
45,49,42
post-2847","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-sin-categoria","tag-blog","tag-hola","tag-remoto-rural
["GET
